Important Notice about Visa and Consular Services for Western Australia and Northern Territory residents

With effect from 1st March 2012, the Consulate General of India in Perth has commenced operation of consular and visa services for the applicants residing in Western Australia and Northern Territory. From this date, all applicants residing in WA and NT need to select Perth Consulate as their submission centre and submit/post their applications to India Passport and Visa Services Centre in Perth. IMPORTANT NOTICE
Any person seeking a visa to India for purpose of entering into a surrogacy arrangement must ascertain beforehand whether the law of that country (Australia) permits surrogacy and will provide appropriate travel documents to the child for accompanying the surrogate parents. Entering into surrogacy arrangement under any other visa not sought for surrogacy is punishable under the Indian Law.
